Latest Update May 2008
It is with great regret that Archana and I write to you to inform you that we are no longer in a position to offer our experience, The Freycinet Escape. This extremely unfortunate situation has arisen due to the existence of a White Bellied Sea Eagles nest site in the vicinity of our Camp's location at Bryans Corner in the Freycinet National Park. The White Bellied Sea Eagle is listed as a threatened species and its habitat, quite rightfully, is carefully protected by a range of legislation. Whilst we are bitterly disappointed by this turn of events we would also point out that as environmentally responsible tourism operators we are fully supportive of the need to protect threatened and endangered species.
The Freycinet Escape would like to sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused to travellers and would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone who has assisted us to date and look forward to re-establishing ties with you in the future.
Yours sincerely,
Tim and Archana Brammall
